With the new TSS Soccer Centre set to open in September, 2016, TSS Academy would like to announce that Rob Dattilo will be the Operations Manager for the new facility. Rob has spent 13 years with TSS, the last several functioning as the Director of Boys Programming. Rob has moved over from that role but will continue being a very active Staff Coach in both the Academy and TSS FC. In this new role, Rob will oversee facility rentals, tournaments, leagues and special events at TSS Soccer Centre.
"I'm looking forward to taking on these new responsibilities," says Dattilo. "The TSS Soccer Centre will be the nerve centre of the organization, hosting the Academy, TSS FC, leagues, rental groups, events, etc. We want this to be a special place."
Taking the reins of the TSS Boys Program will be the Colin Elmes. Colin is the current Managing Director of TSS, an organization he co-founded back in 1997. Colin brings a wealth of experience and understanding to the boys program, both in the Academy environment and TSS FC - the full-time soccer club at TSS.
"We appreciate all the work Rob has done with the boys program during his tenure, " says Elmes. "A number of well known figures have run the TSS Boys Program over the years, including Whitecaps Academy Director, Bart Choufour and Canadian soccer icon, Carl Valentine. I'm looking forward to running this program and to help develop players for TSS FC, the BCSPL, or to simply help any young player who wants to increase their abilities in the game.”
TSS is the largest and most established soccer academy in the province, with over 600 players training and playing throughout the year. Players attend from all across the Lower Mainland of BC. For more information, please visit www.tss.ca
